Base One, the 55,000-sq-ft Sciopolis/Imperial College London hub in North Acton, opened September 9, 2026, matters because two of its three tenants bet seed capital on renting pilot-scale production instead of building it: Nanomox closed £2.4 million in February, Ki 13 closed $5 million on September 2.
